People love Perch - Ed Jones

We love to hear how much People love Perch and this interview is with Ed Jones from CodeBacon.

Tell us a bit about yourself:

I’m a website programmer / partner for Codebacon Web Design based in North Wales. Codebacon mainly develop bespoke websites for local businesses. We use Perch for all of our bespoke websites including our own because of its ease of use and simplicity.

What sites have you used Perch on recently?

My Geek Box is a subscription based website. They put Geeky / Nerdy toys into boxes every month and ship them to thousands of geeks world wide. We have used perch to list and manage subscribers, from that the client can print all of their box labels for all the active members. All this in addition to the basic “out of the box” CMS.

Conwy Pirates is a swashbuckling fun filled weekend for all the family, join pirates, privateers and buccaneers in Conwy for music, rum and good grog. We developed a website for the Conwy Pirate weekend using Perch for the blog and gallery.

Why did you choose Perch?

Perch was recommend to use by another web company that were currently enjoying it so we had to see what all the fuss was about.

How did you find working with Perch?

The Perch installation process is good and quite easy. Training clients is easy, simply because unlike with other systems we don’t really need to explain it. They tend to pick it up rather quickly and this is important to us.

It’s a really lovely system to use for both developers and our clients.
