People love Perch - Brandon Livengood
We love to hear how much People love Perch and this interview is with Brandon Livengood of Unleashed Ideas.
Tell us a bit about yourself:
I am Brandon Livengood and I run a small web design company called Unleashed Ideas. We are located in the United States around Northeast Ohio and specialise in Web Development, Internet Marketing and Graphic Design.
What sites have you used Perch for recently?
I use Perch to develop sites for a range of local businesses.
91 Restaurant Group is an independent restaurant group with four locations.
Old Wood Limited sell premium hardwood and timber flooring.
Magic Garage Door Inc has been serving Northeast Ohio since 1986 installing and repairing residential and commercial garage doors and openers.
Santangelo’s Catering and Party Center provide catering services in Ohio.
Build a Body Personal Training offer a range of fitness and personal training services.
The Graceful Wedding Company are a team of Design Consultants serving Stark County and surrounding areas.
Why did you choose Perch?
I initially chose Perch because you could use the CMS to retrofit a current site that was built in PHP. I get lots of requests from clients to just have the ability to edit just a certain area of the site. Perch is pretty much the only system that will successfully allow you to do that without complicating things for the client.
I also love the support that Perch provides. When paying for any type of commercial software 90% of the time it comes with Free support and Perch support is by far one of the best around.
How did you find working with Perch?
I love working with Perch, the interface is clean which makes things easier on the client. Installation is quick and easy and when a new version of Perch comes out upgrades are just as simple.
How do the content creators/site owners find working with Perch?
They love it. Clients find it super easy to use which makes them happy when it comes to editing their website. I no longer have to field phone calls and emails about how to do certain things in a CMS like I have in the past. This is a win-win when it comes to clients and their content. I highly recommend Perch and I can’t wait to see what the future holds.
