When it comes to editing blocks of formatted content in Perch we offer you a real choice.

In Perch you can use Markdown, Textile or HTML. We ship with a simple editor called MarkItUp that can help you edit in any of these languages. Using something like Markdown along with the structured content approach of Perch is a great choice if you want to keep good control over all of the markup added to the site.

If you or your client prefers a WYSIWYG style editor, that isn’t a problem. Grab one of our packaged editors – we have Redactor, CKEditor and TinyMCE available – and use that.
