Churches
When you need a content management system for a church website look to Perch for a fast and easy solution. The admin area has been designed to make it easy for non-technical users to update content, however despite being a lightweight CMS, Perch has power to add dynamic functionality to your site. Adding an event calendar, uploading MP3 files of sermons and displaying images of events are all achievable without needing to understand PHP.

Examples of church websites
These sites use Perch to manage their content. If you have built a church or place of worship website with Perch and would like to see it displayed here – why not post a link in the thread on the forum.
All Saints, Maidenhead
The All Saints Church website uses Perch to manage the content across the entire site. The site also uses the Events App to great effect. The main events calendar displays all upcoming events, however the events have also been added to categories so that perch_events_custom can be used to display a filtered list of events on the relevant pages.
Before using Perch events had to be added to the homepage by hand and the site sometimes displayed dates that had passed, now the old dates disappear automatically.
Kentucky InterVarsity
Kentucky InterVarsity is a campus ministry at college and university campuses around Kentucky.
The site uses Perch for content management. One way Perch has been really helpful for this site has been in the ability to present the same information (for example, the list of the chapters) on multiple different pages using different templates.
